Villa Leonardo is a privately owned property located in the ancient village of Bucchianico (Abruzzo) at the very foothills of the Majella National Park.The house was entirely renovated by owners Joe and Frankie, who moved to Abruzzo after a few years spent in Puglia.
We searched high and low for the right property to fit the needs of our guests and we found it in Villa Leonardo! It’s a dream lifestyle and a location that we want to share with you – Frankie says
The property features two elegantly furnished holiday rentals, the Majella Apartment (sleeps 2) and the Gran Sasso Apartment (sleeps 5), each with their own fully equipped kitchen, private balconies and a shared sun terrace. Both apartments were personally revamped by Joe, a former carpenter, whose abilities were poured with love into the project.
Apartments, both with an indipendent entrance, are new and decorated with a modern touch, they are located on second floor and cooled by a natural breeze – the 2 o’clock wind – running through the large windows and balconies. The entire building was conceived with the environment in mind as hot water and central heating are provided via solar panels and biomass boiler.
Villa Leonardo has a secluded courtyard area with dramatic views over the valleys and mountains, including a plungepool, a water fountain and a BBQ area. Guests are welcome to help themselves and pick fresh produce from the litlle gardens. Joe and Frankie have created a little rural paradise with the comforts of modern life, they are Abruzzo-entusiasts and very looking forward to help their guests make the most of it.
