Abruzzo4foodies was the first to offer private culinary tours in Abruzzo since 2012! Tours are designed for small groups (max 6-8 people) and mainly run on weekends depending on the season. Activities are conducted in English, other European languages like French, German, Spanish and Italian may be available upon request. We proud ourselves in offering unique food experiences combining spectacular landscapes with farm-to-table products, in a relaxed and slow-paced atmosphere.
Flavors of Abruzzo Tour | Half-day Walking Tour of Guardiagrele run on Sunday, including: visit to the Sunday food & vegetables market, local deli and gourmet shops, a pottery lab and private cellar (seasonal). Eating and shopping tips. Total tour time: approx 4 hours.
Wine Tasting in the Vineyards | Half-day visit to a local winery including: guided tour run in English or Spanish, private wine tasting (3 types of wine), bread and EVO oil tasting, shooting walk in the vineyards, suggestions for lunch. Total tour time: approx 3 hours.
Farm-to-table Cooking Class | Full-day activity in Manoppello, farm-to-table cooking class in English or Spanish, lunch prepared by the guests. In the afternoon visit to a local winery (depending on the season) including tasting, shooting walk to the ‘Earth Houses’. Total tour time: approx 8 hours.
Abruzzo Wine Passion | Half-day visit to a local winery in Frisa or Rocca San Giovanni including guided tour in English, wine tasting, bread and EVO oil tasting, shooting walk in the vineyards, lunch in a local agriturismo. Total tour time: approx 4 hours.
Vineyards overlooking the sea | Half-day visit to a local winemaking cooperative including a tour of the vineyards overlooking the sea, a guided visit to the impressive cellars, a private wine tasting. In the afternoon you can either play golf in Miglianico or discover the ancient fishing machines along the Trabocchi Coast. Total tour time: approx 4 hours.
